About this app

E-NoteBook is a private, powerful notes app that helps you capture ideas, organize them, and actually find your way back to what you wrote. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your notes stay on your phone.

WRITE NATURALLY
Write on ruled paper with headings, bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, inline code, code blocks, links, nested bullet and numbered lists, checklists, text colours, font sizes and several writing fonts. Add pictures from your camera, gallery or a web address. Search inside a note, find and replace text, duplicate notes, copy content, and share notes as text or files.

• Markdown export keeps your note links as [[wiki links]] with a readable header, so it opens neatly in other Markdown apps
• Import from text, Markdown, code files, Google Keep and Evernote exports
• Full-library backup and restore, with an optional password
• Automatic backups, with an optional second copy in a folder you choose

MAKE IT YOURS
Light, dark or automatic theme, a default colour for new notes, and your choice of app font: E-NoteBook's own typeface or your phone's default. The editor font is set separately.

PRIVACY FIRST
• Notes are stored on your device. No account is needed
• Protect notes with a PIN or fingerprint, lock the whole app, or lock individual notes
• Screenshot protection, and privacy controls for the recent-apps screen and the widget

WORKS OFFLINE
Writing, organizing, search, summaries, backups, imports and exports all work without internet. The app goes online only when you choose to add a picture from a web address or open a link.

BUILT FOR REAL WRITING
E-NoteBook stays responsive as your library grows. Notes can be up to 50,000 characters and 5,000 lines.
