Does the job Had my interest peaked when I saw this in store. I remember better if I write things down, so this was just what I have been looking for. I can write a list and save it in my phone for all the times I forget the list at home. Saves me a trip back across town. No, it is not a perfect syncable data transfer and loses some lines with scanning, so I use the manual setting if I have drawn anything. But if you want to write something down and "SCAN" it into your phone this is just what is needed.
App Cuts Off Top & Bottom When the app captures the contents of the board it cuts off about an inch from the top and bottom every time. This really needs to be fixed in an update. The Microsoft Office Lens app doesn't do this an might end up replacing this app for me all together.
I am not sure why all the bad comments. For me it works as I would expect. Is it perfect, no. But it grabs my a pic of my drawings fine. It does sometimes pick up any glare from the lights as part of the drawing but all I need to do is retake the image. I am a long time boogie board user. Had the original and the battery died. After 4 years I saw them again and loved the fact that I could swap batteries. If I ever see the sync I would pick it up too.
Amazing!! Cannot believe how amazing this works! All of you, just crop the actual photo! It has a button right there and found the ACTUAL boogie board amazing. Although I'm not too likeable to the app, loved it a LOT and would use again sometime. I love how you invert the little colors into black & white! Amazing little feature that gave me a great experience. Great job Boogie Board!
Uneventful App cuts 1" off the top. So if you have anything on the Boogie Board that's less than 1" from the top, it will be cropped out of the image/photo taken by this app. Plus the quality of the acquired image looks like an 8bit scan. You'd be better off simply using your phone's camera to capture the Boogie Board screen. Actually, you'd be better off if you hadn't purchased a Jot e-writer in the first place. The Sync is their only product that appears to have any practical usage for a consumer.
Buggy "scanner" Takes so long for the app to recognize what's written/drawn that an actual scanner would be efficient. Need perfect lightning and angle for a "maybe capture". Glad this digital whiteboard was a $25 gift or I'd complain more.
