I'm reviewing the Nightly since it's the version that I currently use - but I love the Tusky project as a whole. The devs are approachable and do their best to ensure a pleasant user experience, putting lot of work into finding and fixing all kinds of issues. Plus, they are taking an active stance against fascist ideologies by blocking Gab instances. Of course the nightly is buggy, because well, it's for finding bugs. For the polished version, install "Tusky for Mastodon" with the blue icon.

The Select Text function is fubared on my S26 and other deevices making it nearly impossible to select specific text, and in the process fubars the translate function, making it useless

I've only ever had positive experiences with Tusky. Having tried several fedi apps this is the best one I've found so far. My only real wish is that you could choose your color theme by instance, but that's not critical.

What’s new

More collection updates (#5551)

- open collections from links (this is how the "share collection" functionality works 🙄)
- display collection search results (mastodon (4.6.2) doesn't currently appear to actually _return_ results except when explicitly searching for a collection url, but I guess this will change)
