I'm reviewing the Nightly since it's the version that I currently use - but I love the Tusky project as a whole. The devs are approachable and do their best to ensure a pleasant user experience, putting lot of work into finding and fixing all kinds of issues. Plus, they are taking an active stance against fascist ideologies by blocking Gab instances. Of course the nightly is buggy, because well, it's for finding bugs. For the polished version, install "Tusky for Mastodon" with the blue icon.

I've only ever had positive experiences with Tusky. Having tried several fedi apps this is the best one I've found so far. My only real wish is that you could choose your color theme by instance, but that's not critical.

"Blocks the largest instance?" Don't make me laugh. Before Gab stole Mastodon's software (and I mean stole; they're currently in violation of their AGPL license for not publishing their customization to hide active user counts), they had a mere 200 active users (again, they're intentionally hiding this), 4 of which are 4 of the most recent active shooters in the news. Blocking Gab is a matter of public safety. Full support for this app.
