Asset Tracker works with your Key Systems Global Facilities Management System (GFMS) software and hardware to track the location of your assets. When an asset attached to a tracking fob is removed from a Secure Asset Manager (SAM) cabinet, an alert is sent to your mobile device. The mobile device connects to the fob via Bluetooth LE and then uses its GPS hardware to track the location of the asset. Tracking continues in the background, even when your mobile device's screen is off or not in use, until the asset is returned to the SAM.
