Khedut Khata is an account book for farmers. Speak what you spent, and the app
writes it down.

Most farm accounts live in a paper diary or in someone's head. At the end of the
season it is hard to say whether a crop actually made money. Khedut Khata keeps
the record as you go, in your own language, so the answer is always ready.

SPEAK, DON'T TYPE
Tap the microphone and say it the way you would say it to a neighbour — "two
thousand rupees for fertiliser". The app understands Gujarati and Hindi, fills in
the amount, the category and the crop, and shows you the entry before it saves.
No forms to fill in. No typing.

PROFIT AND LOSS, PER CROP
Every expense and sale is tied to a field and a crop. The app adds them up on its
own and shows what each crop earned or cost you — this season and across the
year. No calculation to do yourself.

BHAGIYA (SHARE-CROPPING) ACCOUNTS
Keep a separate account for each bhagiya. Record the share, the advances (upad)
they took, and what is owed at settlement. The app can also prepare the
share-cropping agreement as a PDF, with the agreed terms written out.

WORKS WITHOUT INTERNET
The ledger lives on your phone, so it works in the field where there is no
signal. When a connection returns, your account is backed up so a lost or broken
phone does not mean a lost year.

YOUR FIELDS ON A MAP
Mark a field's boundary by walking it or drawing it on the map, and the app
works out the area in bigha or acres.

REPORTS YOU CAN SHARE
Produce a monthly or seasonal report as a PDF and send it to whoever needs it —
a family member, a lender, a buyer.

REMINDERS ON THEIR OWN
The app reminds you about rent due dates and bhagiya settlements. You do not have
to remember them.

Gujarati, Hindi and English. Switch anytime.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO
No ads. We never sell your data. Photos of ID proof stay on your phone and are
never uploaded.

What’s new

Two fixes to voice entry.

When you said an amount like "paanch hajaar-no khaatar", the app was hearing only the five and writing 5 instead of 5,000. It now keeps the thousands however you say the word — hajaar-no, hajaar-na, hajaar-nu, laakh-no.

And if you name a crop while speaking — "...kapaas-ma" — the entry is now filed against that crop, even when you opened voice entry from a different crop's row.
