About this app

The Kumho E&C Worker Access System is an app designed to ensure the safety of workers at construction sites. Users receive immediate warnings when entering hazardous areas, such as crane swing radii or excavation zones. In critical situations, such as injury or isolation, users can request rescue via SOS, providing their exact location.

■ Key Features

- Hazard Zone Entry Warning
When a worker enters a designated hazardous area at the site (crane swing radius, excavation edge, falling object hazard zone, etc.), an immediate warning notification is sent to their mobile phone. Users can also directly check the location and extent of the hazardous area on a map.

- Emergency (SOS) Rescue Request
In an emergency, if a worker presses the SOS button, a rescue request is transmitted to the site safety manager, along with their exact location. This helps rescue personnel reach the site quickly, especially in large, multi-story construction sites.

- Work Status Management
Workers can directly manage their work status, including clocking in, working at the site, at the office, and clocking out. Location data collection stops immediately upon clocking out.

- Easy Entry
Easily enter the site by scanning a QR code provided at the site or entering the site code. ■ Location Data Collection Notice

Workers cannot keep the app open while working because they carry materials with both hands and keep their mobile phones in their pockets. Therefore, we collect location data in the background to detect entry into hazardous areas even when the screen is off or while using other apps. Without background location data, we cannot detect entry into hazardous areas and thus cannot send warnings.

Location is collected only when the user is clocked in and stops immediately upon clocking out. The collected location data is used solely for hazardous area warnings and emergency response; it is not used for attendance management or work performance measurement.

■ Users

This service is used by workers and site safety managers working at Kumho E&C construction sites. It can be accessed via the QR code provided at the site or the site code.

■ Privacy Protection

Personal information and location data are securely managed in accordance with relevant laws and the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and related data within the app at any time.
