It's 2024 and there are still app developers that do not write apps with VPNs in mind? WOW. When I first started using this app last year it worked just fine on my phone and tablet. Several months ago it just quit working. I contacted Kick's customer support (they were great) and found out that my use of a VPN was causing the issue. Basically, I was told that I need to disable my VPN to be able to use the app (this is true for browsers too). I am not going to compromise my privacy.

Pathetic excuse of an app.. current version crashes on start-up, closing app results in automatic sign out, error showing offline channel when they're live, very slow and clunky user interface. Not worth installing this app at all, complete headache and a waste of time. Not sure how the developers do it, but every update seemingly gets worse.

It was buggy, REALLY buggy, mostly having to do with fullscreen and orientation flip from portrait to landscape. They fixed some of it. But now out of no where, with the last update, everytime the stream starts (I use a Note 10+) and the pause/play button hides, the top system bar with time/power/etc. won't go away. They STILL haven't fixed the bottom system bar with back/home/apps from permanently popping up if you touch the screen at all while fullscreen either. Do more testing before commit.
