About this app

Good behaviors are likely to happen more if appreciated with a positive action like a reward.

Rewards can encourage your child’s good behaviors
How you act when your child behaves can make the behavior likely to happen again. Rewards can motivate your child to do more things that you appreciate.

Rewards can improve your relationship with your child
When you reward your child, it makes both you and your child happy. Your child is happy because he/she will get something they like. You will be happy to see your child doing something good and the smile on your child will make you happier.

Rewards can help increase self-esteem
Kids, especially toddlers and preschoolers, often hear the words “no”, “stop” and “quit” throughout the day. This is normal and one of the ways they are taught to learn right from wrong. However, repeatedly hearing these words can impact their self-esteem. They may start believing that they cannot do anything right. When a child earns a reward, they know that they have done something good and something that you appreciate of them. This increases their self-esteem.

Considering this magic of rewarding, we created a simple smart parenting app where parents can give Happy and Angry points to kids based on their behaviors or some daily chores they do. Kids can redeem rewards with the points they earned. Hence, kids are more than likely to follow good behavior as there is a point system that they can redeem with any gift they like.

Below are the major features of Kiddy app.

Happy Points 🙂
Parents can give Happy points when kids do something positive. Eg: for some household chores like when they help in cleaning their room or when they get some good grades in exams, etc.

Angry Points 😈
Give Angry points (i.e. reduce points) when kids do anything negative. Eg: when they fight with their siblings, get low grades in exams, etc.

Redeem Points 💰
Kids can redeem the points with their parents and get some gifts. Eg: You can relate 1 point to any currency say 1 point = 1 cent or 1 point = 1 Rupee. When kids have earned enough points, they can Redeem some points from their earned points and buy a gift.

Wishlist 🎁
Maintain a wishlist for kids. Kids can add a gift they want to their wishlist. A target point is marked for each wishlist. Once kids have earned enough points, they can redeem that gift.

Challenges 🏆
Assign specific challenges to kids. This can be a one-time challenge to read a book. This can also be a recurring challenge to do exercise daily or read the newspaper. Once kids complete their challenges, you can mark these challenges as accomplished, and that many happy points will be added for them.

Ok so I will gladly up my rating once the premium comes out which needs to hurry lol! So I gladly paid the $2.99 right off the bat as it seemed like It gave me no choice and it looked like it was going to be the easiest app for first time child reward app user. Premium is misleading. Well I'm not seeing much of a help section/faq which is more than needed. When I add a kiddo it adds multiples! And no delete? Always entering passcode. Unneeded. There's more I'm sure. Real premium please!!

Sure Nicole. Thanks for your feedback. In most of the screens there is a help question mark button at top right corner. For deleting a Kiddy there is a menu option for each kid at top right corner itself. Multiple kids might get added if we accidentally double tap. We will check it. About passcode and other suggestions we have noted it . Thank you.

So far so good! My twins seem eafer to earn points and like the concept. Already see improvement in the first two days! A couple suggestions though. - would like both parents to be able to add/delete points (both Android and ios) -add the ability to copy wishes to other siblings -add a customizeable default point total for behaviors so it's easier for parents to come up with fair wish points. Hard to figure it when you don't assign the points in the first place.

Dear Erin, really appreciate your suggestion. We will consider it and improve our app in the new version. If you have questions or suggestions please contact us at thekiddyapp@gmail.com. Also, we are already working on a premium version of app where this parent share feature is available. This will be ready in 2 to 3 months. Thank you.

Excellent implementation, simple for Dad easy for the girls to see and understand earning and losing. Eli5 indeed. One thing I'd like to see is a parent sync so I can share with Mom, and the girls asked for an ability to set colors for their profiles... I know the first is nice and the second is trivial. Other than that, great app. Pro is a reasonable one time fee instead of a ludicrous subscription and I'm happy to support this developer.

Thank you Jason for the feedback and encouraging comments. This one is a standalone version. We are working on a separate version of kiddy app where this parent sharing feature is available. We will forward your feedbacks to our development team. Once again thanks much for the feedback.
