About this app
Nova is Kidonauta's AI-powered tutor. She guides elementary and high school students through their schoolwork. She doesn't give the answer: she asks questions, offers clues, and waits for the student to respond.
How it starts
A parent creates an account, adds their child, and chooses a subject. If the child is nearby, they hand them their phone, and the first lesson is ready on their screen. If not, they choose a specific time, and Kidonauta will remind them.
It works for any subject: if the subject isn't listed, it can be added with its topics, and Nova will still help. She's an expert tutor in all subjects.
What your child does
• Short, step-by-step lessons with drawings and a follow-up question.
• Games within the lesson: tap on parts of a diagram, move a slider, and see what happens.
• A daily challenge and review sessions with games to cover what they've already learned.
• Ask Nova about anything they don't understand. In the Domina plan, you can also use voice commands.
• Take a picture of the notebook or homework for Nova to review.
How Nova teaches
Like a private tutor, Nova structures each example around what the child enjoys. It assesses understanding before moving on: it doesn't continue if the foundation is lacking and doesn't repeat what the child has already mastered. If an explanation didn't work, it changes its method.
What you see as a parent
• The child's streak, correct answers, and minutes spent on the week, as well as their progress in each subject.
• A chat with Nova about how to support them at home.
• Printable worksheets with separate answer keys. You send Nova a photo of their work, and Nova corrects it.
• A suggested schedule and notifications on your phone when something is ready to review.
The parent section requires your password: the child uses the app without accessing your dashboard.
Security
The account is always created by an adult. The child does not have their own email or phone number on the app. Nova follows strict rules regarding sensitive topics, and every message goes through a security filter. No ads.
Plans
Monthly subscription through Google Play, with automatic renewal and cancellation at any time via Google Play. There are three plans based on subjects, photos, and voice, and the price depends on the number of children. The price is displayed in the app before you confirm.

In Spanish. Nova uses "vos" in Argentina and "tú" in the rest of the world.
