Kiln is a beautiful, offline notebook built for potters. Keep your glaze recipes, firing schedules, and test tiles — with photos and results — in one place that survives the studio. No accounts, no subscriptions, no ads.

THE GLAZE → TEST TILE → FIRING LOOP
The one thing Kiln does better than a notebook or spreadsheet: it links your glazes to their test tiles and firings, so you can instantly answer "what did this glaze do at this cone, on this clay body?"

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Glaze recipes — ingredients with a live percentage check, target cone, atmosphere (oxidation/reduction/neutral), application notes, food-safe flag, results, and a swatch photo.
• Firing logs — kiln, cone target vs. result, a full ramp/hold schedule with a visual firing curve and total time, atmosphere, date, and result photos.
• Test tiles — link a tile to a glaze, clay body and cone, then compare outcomes side by side in a filterable grid.
• Pieces — track work from greenware → bisque → glazed → fired on a simple stage board.
• Cone reference — a bundled Orton cone-to-temperature chart in °C or °F.
• Search — find any glaze, firing, or tile by name, cone, or clay body.
• Share — render a clean "glaze result" card to share your work.
