About this app

RootbeerFresh is an open source project that checks if your Android smartphone device is rooted.

This project is based on rootbeer open source. There are a number of well-known rooting detection technologies in place. However, we aim to detect a new rooting device with a completely different technique, completely new.

So, look at the more extensive Android rooting detection project.

** This app is completely open source and does not have any ads.

Tried the app on Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (Android 12 with MIUI 13.0.3) and did not pass the "SE linux flag is Enabled" test, so the phone is detected as "ROOTED". Same thing on my Poco X5 5G (Android 13 + MIUI 14.0.3)

My Galaxy S9 (One UI 2.1, Android 10) has never been rooted. And I have no root management apps installed, only apps that are not from the Play Store.
