About this app

A quiet helper for Korean ancestral rites (jesa) and holiday rites (charye). The app interface is in Korean.

Pick who you are honoring and the app typesets the jibang — the paper tablet written in hanja — for you. Save it to your photos or print it at the real tablet size (60x220mm).

WHAT IT DOES

Jibang writing
- Seven relations: father, mother, grandfather, grandmother, husband, wife, elder brother
- Two people on one tablet (two columns) for parents and grandparents
- Choose from 135 clan seats and 117 surnames in Korean — no hanja typing needed
- Leave the rank field empty and the standard form is used
- Unsupported hanja are reported instead of drawn incorrectly
- Press and hold for three seconds to compose, one character at a time
- Save as an image, or print at the measured tablet size

Table layout (jinseoldo)
- Four diagrams: Chuseok and memorial rites, traditional and simplified
- Row by row, what goes where, drawn as a diagram
- Pinch to zoom, with notes on the arrangement rules

Preparation list
- Two sets, holiday and memorial rite, eighteen steps each
- Finished steps move down quietly; what remains stays on top

Days remaining
- Days left until Seollal and Chuseok, with the lunar date
- One sentence telling you what to do next

HOW IT IS BUILT

- Works offline. No account, no sign-up
- What you enter stays on your device
- Large text mode raises text by 25 percent, and your phone's own text size wins if it is already larger
- No ads while you make, save or print a jibang

Households differ. What you see here is the widely used general form, and your own family's way always takes precedence. Anything uncertain was left out.
