About this app

Kinderloop Plus is a simple, fun and private new web & smart device application that connects families and childhood educators through real time updates, direct from the classroom.

Specifically designed to assist time poor educators and parents, Kinderloop encourages more frequent communication and supports the delivery of information to parents about their child’s progress throughout the day, while allowing for simple holistic reporting.

Our mission is to make it easy and fun for early childhood teachers to record and communicate a child’s early development. We realise how busy providers are with daily program development, documenting, planning, recording, assessing and evaluating. With Kinderloop they can achieve all of this using their own private loop linking parents and teachers together. With help from educators in 85 countries, Kinderloop has created a continuum of care around kids, to reconnect busy parents, and to help save precious time & resources.

Usually a great app but everytime there is an update there are so many issues. I can log in but that is about it - as soon as I press on something it shuts down. Was working perfectly fine until the update. The whole "if it isn't broken don't fix it" springs to mind regularly with Kinderloop. Considering changing planning because of constant issues preventing me doing the most basic things!

Latest update introduced 'What's new'. A completely pointless feature that hasn't been internally tested. Nulls display most of the time. You can't comment or like posts that appear under it. For daily activity you get a button to take you to it (pointless). Notifications now take you to what's new instead of directly into the feed or daily activity. Unnecessary step.

Hi Chris, We have internally tested the What's new feature as we do with all new features, can you send us a screenshot of the Null display as you are the first to see this behaviour (support@kinderloop.com) It was introduced to aid families so they did not miss updates, happy to hear how you would do it better...

One thing I have noticed is that the app access camera and microphone every time the app is opened. I understand the purpose of why these are needed and don't look good when we are just browsing the feed and the phone alerts that camera and microphone are in use. It's better if these issues are fixed.

Hi Manish, thanks for your review... we will ask our android developer to take a look as you are the first to report this, rest assured that the app is not using your microphone or camera unless you request it to do so via a post. If you can, would you be able to send a video of this to support@kinderloop.com
