Ratings and reviews

In order to really compete in this game, you either need to be willing to sink hours of time daily into playing, OR you need to be willing to pay lots of money to level up your heroes quickly. Rather than seeing add-ons as fun new things to play, now it feels like just another time suck...I really wish they'd streamline the playing options. That being said, I do still play and mostly enjoy it. I like my guild, and that's the main reason that I continue to return.

It stars out fun. The dailies become a chore and you eventually get stuck in your progress. In fact the bounty daily encourages you to stay stuck because opponents get progressively harder and you can't go down a gang once you complete. It takes 45 minutes to an hour and for what? Not enough gild resources to even upgrade my core team? Let alone all the other gems I collected, so much for play or build diversity. Also chests cost more gems the more you level. I thought I would get the largest chest by the end of the month with a sub, not the case.

Fun and different than most mobile puzzle games! It's got very similar puzzle gameplay to the console game Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes (which I loved!) but also has lots of common features of mobile games like daily rewards and challenges, guilds to join, and spending power per round. The story is based in Norse mythology, which is cool and kinda different. So far I'm really liking it, it doesn't seem like it'll be too pay-to-play, either.
