AirIndex is a Singapore air-quality companion. It shows official PSI and PM2.5 by region on a live map, trends over time, and optional alerts when air turns unhealthy — and when it is safe again.
WHY AIRINDEX
Singapore already publishes PSI and PM2.5. Most people need more than a table of numbers. They need where air quality is right now, how bad it is in the bands they already know, how it is moving, and a tap on the shoulder when conditions become unhealthy.
WHAT YOU GET
• Regional map — North, East, Central, South, and West badges on a Singapore outline, with headline PSI or PM2.5 and health status
• PSI and PM2.5 toggle — switch the metric without leaving the screen
• Health bands — Good, Moderate, Unhealthy, Very Unhealthy, Hazardous, aligned with NEA-style PSI ranges (Unhealthy starts at 101)
• Trends — 24-hour, 7-day, and 30-day charts, plus regional high and low
• Unhealthy-air alerts — opt-in push when national PSI crosses into Unhealthy (101+), and a one-time notice when it returns to healthy
• Dark, glanceable UI — built for a quick check outdoors or on the commute
DATA
Readings come from official Singapore open data (data.gov.sg). National PSI is the highest of the five regions for that hour. Times are shown in Singapore time (UTC+8).
WHO IT IS FOR
Residents, commuters, and anyone who spends time outdoors in Singapore — especially people sensitive to haze, smoke, or high particulate days. AirIndex shows Singapore’s air by region, in the bands people already know, and tells you when it turns unhealthy — and when it is safe again.
