Sandy is a golf companion for weekend golfers. Keep the card for your whole
group, get GPS yardages to the pin, and preview each hole with a 3D flyover of
the real course before you tee off.
⛳ SEE THE HOLE BEFORE YOU PLAY IT
Sandy flies you from the tee to the green over photorealistic 3D imagery of the
actual course. You see the dogleg, the bunkers and the water the way they
really sit — not a diagram.
🎯 PLAN THE SHOT
Tap anywhere on the hole to drop an aim point. Sandy shows how far the shot
plays and what's left to the pin, so you can pick the club before you pull it.
📍 GPS YARDAGES
Live distance to the pin while you play, plus 100/150/200 yard rings around the
green and carry rings from the tee.
📋 ONE CARD FOR THE GROUP
Score up to four players on one phone, each from their own tee. Circles and
squares mark birdies and bogeys the way a scorecard always has.
📊 STATS AND AN UNOFFICIAL HANDICAP
Season summary, best round, birdie and par counts, and a handicap index
calculated with the World Handicap System formula. It is unofficial — Sandy is
not affiliated with the USGA and the index cannot be used in competition.
👥 THE CLUBHOUSE
Follow other golfers and see their rounds. While you're out on the course,
friends can follow your score hole by hole from home.
🌍 COURSES WORLDWIDE
Course maps come from OpenStreetMap, so thousands of courses work out of the
box — search by name or find the one you're standing on.
A NOTE ON COURSE DATA
Sandy reads course maps from OpenStreetMap, a free community map of the world.
Most courses are mapped in detail, but some have only a boundary and no hole
lines; Sandy marks those clearly and can't score or fly them. Anyone can add a
missing course to OpenStreetMap, and Sandy picks it up automatically.
PRIVACY
Location is used only while you're using the app, to find courses near you and
measure yardages — never in the background. Scorecards stay on your device
unless you sign in and choose to publish a round.
