About this app

KinHelp makes it easier to receive help with your phone from a trusted family member or another person you choose, even when they are somewhere else.

The person who needs help shares their screen with a previously paired trusted helper. During the live help session, the helper can see the shared screen, speak with them and place visible markers showing where to tap.

The helper cannot remotely control the phone, press buttons, type, open apps or make changes. The person sharing their screen remains in control throughout the session and must approve Android’s screen-sharing prompt before sharing begins.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL

Screen sharing starts only after the person receiving help confirms Android’s system capture prompt. KinHelp does not record or store the shared screen. Helpers can see only what is displayed during the active session.

KinHelp is designed for guidance, not remote control. A helper cannot operate the other person’s device.

FREE AND FAMILY ACCESS

KinHelp includes limited free help sessions. An optional KinHelp Family subscription provides longer sessions, additional trusted helpers and increased monthly usage. Subscription prices and terms are displayed in Google Play before purchase.

KinHelp requires an internet connection. Screen sharing, notifications and audio availability may depend on Android permissions and device settings.
