About this app

Moji is an app that helps you learn the two Japanese phonetic scripts — hiragana and katakana — from scratch to fluency.

🔹 Moji Quiz
Progress through 10 levels, gradually expanding your character set from the 46 basic characters all the way to all 107, including voiced and combination characters. Tap characters to hear their pronunciation, and in later levels, type the romaji from memory.

🔹 Moji Puzzle
A unique puzzle where you sort characters into their correct families while matching vowel sounds across the middle of the board. Four difficulty levels, from Easy to Hard.

🔹 Moji Words
Spell real Japanese words using hiragana or katakana. Words are unlocked as you level up in Moji Quiz, so new vocabulary always matches what you know. Correctly spelled words are saved to your personal Word List.
