One of the best things I’ve experienced in Auckland is Cityhop. I love the idea of renting a car like a taxi, no hassle of going to a rental office, no expensive parking to worry about, and no costly taxi fares. It would be even better if the car could be left at the destination, as that would add more flexibility to the service. Thanks so much, Cityhop!

SCAM ALERT The app stopped working for 10 minutes. This caused me to be unable to start the van for 10 minutes. After the van finally started I dropped the van bank locking it ONE MINUTE late. City hop tried to charge me an ENTIRE HOUR late fee because THEIR APP was playing up. I contacted support who said the fee will be removed. However almost a month later someone CHANGED the time & are trying to again chare an hour fee & blocked me from contacting support! This is a SCAM!

This app is utterly unusable. Why can't it just show you on the map which cars are available, at which times, without you having to prefill the exact date and time you want a car, and choose the pod you want to pick up from, then when it tells you no cars are available you just have to start the process over again at a different pod! Why are you making me play a guessing game to book a car? 1 star, uninstalled in frustration. Never trying to book a Cityhop car again. I'll stick with Mevo thanks!
