Connect two dots of the same color with blocks, and they disappear.
That is the whole rule. No tutorial, no sign-up, no timer. A simple block puzzle game played on an 8x8 grid, where you place blocks to link dots and clear them.
■ How to play
Drag a block from the tray onto any empty space. When two dots of the same color are joined by blocks, the path and both dots clear, and a new pair appears. The round ends when nothing fits anymore. Then you start again — no lives, no waiting.
■ Longer paths score far more
Score grows with the square of the path length. A 3-tile link is 45 points. A 12-tile link is 720. Clear the short way now, or take the long way around for far more — that choice is every turn, and it is the best decision in the game.
■ Chains and combos
Complete two pairs in a single move and a chain fires. Clear on back-to-back turns and a combo multiplier stacks: 1.2x at two in a row, 2.5x at five. Your best runs almost always come from this stretch.
■ Space is the difficulty
Every so often a 3x3 block shows up. You never know when, so you have to keep room for it. As the board fills, big pieces arrive more often and open space shrinks. That tug-of-war is the game.
■ You never get a block that cannot be placed
No unfair endings from a piece with nowhere to go. If the round is over, that was your choice, not luck.
■ Good for
• One-handed play on the train or bus
• A few rounds before bed
• Planes, subways, anywhere without a connection
• Quiet focus, with no loud background music
■ If you have been looking for this kind of puzzle
If you enjoy connect the dots puzzles, block puzzles, line link games, grid puzzles, or endless casual puzzle games, you will feel at home right away. Filling a grid with blocks may look familiar, but here filling is not the goal — building a path between two dots is. The same block belongs somewhere completely different.
