How it works
This app measures the actual traffic your device is sending/receiving and displays the current throughput. It does not run synthetic “speed tests,” so there’s no extra data usage beyond what your other apps already use.
Permissions (what and why)
Draw over other apps: to show the optional floating overlay.
Notifications (Android 13+): to show the ongoing speed notification.
Network & Wi-Fi state / Internet: to read network type and traffic.
Location (Approx./Precise): required by Android to read the current Wi-Fi SSID and link speed on some devices/versions.
Nearby Wi-Fi devices (Android 13+): lets the app read Wi-Fi info without a scan.
Read phone state: to show your current mobile network type (e.g., LTE/5G).
Receive boot completed: optional, to auto-start if you enable “Start on boot”.
Privacy
No account, no login, no personal profile.
Usage history stays on your device.
Public IP & city lookup happens only if you enable it in Settings.
This app displays ads (AdMob), which may use device identifiers as described in our policy.

Notes
Speeds shown are your current throughput, which naturally fluctuates based on what other apps are doing and network conditions. It may differ from your plan’s theoretical maximum or from synthetic speed-test results.
If the overlay doesn’t appear, grant “Display over other apps” permission from Settings
