List view with search function
The buildings are displayed in a list with a thumbnail image. A location can be entered in the search field.
Search function for locations
The search function limits the number of place names.
Map display of the selection
The map displays the buildings selected in the search function as a pin. A pin can be selected. The scroll bar in the lower area shows the selected buildings as an overview. The user can access the radius search using the buttons located at the top left. The right-hand buttons activate the automatic display of the nearest building to the current location and the automatic updating of the map section.
Range search
The radius search shows the buildings in the vicinity of the current location.
Activating the pin (top right) automatically selects the nearest building to the current location.
Information about a building
By selecting a building in the list or map view, the user can access the details of the selected building. The lower area symbolizes the information available for a building. Floor plans are not available for all buildings. The "Visits" icon on the right side also shows the number of visits documented by the user.
In the upper part, you can scroll through the image thumbnails. The user can enlarge this view by tapping.
Geographical information about a building
The geographical data contains the GPS position and the address for navigation. If navigation software is found, it can be launched. Apple's own Maps application is supported, as is the optional Navigon app.
Images
In the image view, users navigate using the gestures typical for the iPhone – swipe, zoom, and scroll. Images taken during their own visits are also included.
Saving your own images
Your own photos can be sent by email and shared on social media.
Floor plan
Floor plans are available for most buildings. The view can be zoomed in and out using the gestures typical for the iPhone.
Map View
The map view shows the selected building. Typical iPhone map views can be selected.
Visits
Users can document every visit to a church. Captured images are also visible in the image view along with the visit time and can be sent individually or collectively via email or shared on social media.
