Updating my review. So far, I'm impressed. This is my first 3D scanning app. I use the android version of this app on a Pixel 8 Pro. I've experimented with the photo scan feature. My scans are usually around 50 photos, 50mb. They upload in around 20 seconds. I like that the rendering is done through KIRI's server. I can select settings and close the app while my model is rendering. It took me a few tries, but I'm now confidently able to create high quality 3D objects. I will most likely upgrade.

Genuinely impressed at the quality of the app and of the scan! I scanned the inside of a matte white giant clam shell (with some dry erase marker dots I added to help it a bit) and it absolutely nailed it. I had very low expectations but it looks nearly perfect. I am now going to 3d print a negative of it, and if it fits the actual object without tweaks I will be beyond impressed. I also appreciate requesting an app store review at the right moment- after I exported.

Not impressed yet. Ended up paying for monthly to see if I could get more resolution but was still the same with paid version. Wish they had a feature to see resolution of the mesh. It only shows the textures on the mesh. The paid version has 8k textures but I really need more polygon resolution for sculpting and printing. I didn't see any difference in polygon fidelity and details compared to the free version. I even tried close ups and export to ultra but the most I can get is 150k polys.
