Bring weather-inspired motion to your Android home screen with Weather Live Wallpaper. Choose a landscape wallpaper or an image from your device, then add animated effects that reflect supported weather conditions and the time of day.

Keep the scene you like while sunlight, clouds, rain, snow, fog, wind, lightning, the moon, and stars create a different atmosphere around it. Weather Live Wallpaper combines an animated wallpaper experience with current weather information and forecasts in one app.

How the live wallpaper works

• Choose a landscape from the wallpaper collection
• Select a personal image from your device
• Preview animated weather effects before applying them
• Set the result through the Android live wallpaper picker
• Enable Follow Real Weather to match supported effects to weather data for your saved location
• Turn off weather sync to select and customize supported effects manually

Weather data updates periodically according to the refresh interval available in Settings. The app changes animated effects and lighting; it does not automatically replace your selected wallpaper image when the weather changes.

Weather Live Wallpaper can display visual effects for different conditions, including:

Weather information and forecast

Check useful weather details for your selected location:

• Current temperature and feels-like temperature
• Forecast low and high temperatures
• Rain and storm probability
• Humidity and dew point
• Wind speed, wind gusts, and direction
• UV index
• Visibility
• Atmospheric pressure and pressure tendency
• Cloud cover and cloud ceiling
• Accumulated precipitation
• Five-day weather forecast
• Detailed 24-hour rain probability and amount chart
• Air quality index
• Sunrise and sunset times
• Moonrise, moonset, moon age, and moon phase

Some weather fields appear only when data is available from the weather provider.

Automatic or manual location

Allow location access to select weather for your current location, or search for and save a city manually. Location permission is optional when you use manual city selection. The saved location can be changed at any time from Settings.

Refresh and appearance options

Choose from the weather refresh intervals available in Settings. Select Light, Dark, or System mode for the app interface.

An internet connection is required to retrieve weather data and wallpaper collection images. Live wallpaper availability depends on Android device support. Weather data and visual effects may vary by location, provider availability, and supported conditions.
