When using Smart Easy Authentication, your phone number is verified through the carrier (SDK) for mobile phone authentication and access to your phone's status and device information.

This permission allows USIM information (phone number data) to be provided to the respective carriers (SKT/KT/LGT).
This information is used to collect device information for secure financial services such as phone authentication, device authentication, login, push notifications, and fraud prevention (transfer notifications during calls).

- Storage (Required): Use of joint certificates, image storage, etc.

- Photo (Optional): Save transfer confirmation, select allowance request images, etc.

- Physical Activity (Optional): Step counting, etc.
- You can use the Gwangju Bank app (Gwangju Wabank) without consenting to optional access permissions. However, some services may be restricted.

It would not accept any of the verification codes it sent me, so I couldn't even sign in. The foreign help line is also all in Korean, so that was another dead end. Edit: The bank clerk wrote my name wrong, so I can't sign in unless I missplell it too, but because it doesn't match the correct spelling on my ARC, I still can't finish logging in, and there is no way to fix the spelling in the app.

Hello. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by using Wabank. In the event of an authentication code error, the name registered in the carrier and the bank must match correctly to authenticate. If the same phenomenon is repeated when checking the carrier, please visit the branch and we will check it in detail. Thank you.

I love the updates version of this application. However, there is still difficulty in understanding many available options in app. I hope that company will provide the english version soon to facilitate their foreigner customers equally 🙂
