About this app

D-REC is an offline AI recorder that turns speech into text as you talk, 100% on your phone. Tap a sentence to hear that moment again, or turn the wheel to move through the recording.

Use it for meetings, lectures, interviews, calls and ideas.

Record up to 10 minutes at a time, copy the text and choose from 5 colorways without an account. A free account also keeps 3 recordings on this device and includes summaries of your first 3.

PRO FEATURES
An eligible D-REC Pro account unlocks longer recordings, the full recording library, summaries, speaker and sound labels, file and audio exports, editing by text, music mode and all 27 colorways.

YOUR ACCOUNT
An account is optional. Sign in with an emailed code. Your account holds your email address, a sign-in identifier and your plan, never anything you record. Buy D-REC Pro in the app through Google Play, or use a plan your D-REC account already has.

OPTIONAL COUNTS AND SUPPORT
D-REC keeps usage counts using a random installation ID, platform and app version, with no recording, transcript or account attached. Turn off ANONYMOUS USAGE COUNTS in Settings to stop these counts. Sending a support report or feedback is optional; it sends the words you type and the technical context described in the privacy policy.

What’s new

The tour is hands-on: every control it points to works while it is open, and SKIP TOUR is easy to find.
With Pro you can continue a recording: record onto the end of one you already made and keep it one recording.
You can now buy Pro in the app through Google Play: monthly or yearly, each after 7 days free for new subscribers, or Pro Forever once.
D-REC can now leave you a one-time note in the app, for example when Pro is given to you as a gift.
