HOW A LESSON WORKS
Read a story, one sentence at a time, with the translation a tap away. Then rebuild those same sentences yourself: drag the words into order, fill the gap, or listen and reconstruct what you heard. Five questions close the chapter. Nothing is drilled that you have not just met in context.

THIRTY CHAPTERS, A HUNDRED AND FIFTY STORIES
Every course runs to thirty chapters and a hundred and fifty stories at A1 beginner level. French goes further, through A2, B1 and B2, and every French sentence is recorded by a studio voice.

WORDS THAT COME BACK
New words enter a review schedule and return exactly when you are about to forget them. A swipe game turns that review into something you can do in a queue.

Recorded voices in four more languages: every beginner sentence and word in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese is now read aloud, as French already was. Two new exercises sit between the sentences: match the words to their translations, and choose what a word means. Your first sentence to build arrives in the first minute. A run of correct answers is shown and heard, the chime rising with each one. Leave an exercise halfway and it resumes where you left it.
