I love the game, I really do, but I feel like it's extremely slow. Not with the gameplay, that's fine. But with the currency. You get a good amount of coins per level and that's fine for upgrading troops. . . But when you save for 20 levels and can't even purchase the next troop that's absurd. I know there's a shop to buy coins, but that shouldn't be the only way to progress. It almost feels like the F2P players are being punished with the high prices for units and sandbox.

starting off was fun. unlocking troops and vehicles happened at a good pace... for literally 4 levels. level 5 hits and the game gives you a bonus that you can PURCHASE in the event you want more. From level 5 on, the game is impossible. Enemy troops, artillery, and vehicles spawn twice as fast as yours and upgrading anything costs too much. the fun immediately died for me on level 6 and I instantly wrote this review. I'm uninstalling now. this game had so much going for it just to be a p2w.

The troops seem to just decide that half the trenches aren't good enough for them and that they would rather die. Some levels are nothing at all, others a slow grind partially due too the trench issues, partly because the AI rarely spawns anything at all sometimes. Ads, after each level is a bit much, and I don't see a way to mute the music, or sfx, nevermind a volume slider in game for each individually instead of simply off or on.
