Shadow Wartime is a one-of-a-kind, mobile tactical 2.5D online shooter with survival elements and an emphasis on realism. The action of the game unfolds within the abandoned city of Shadov and its environs. In the territory of Shadov there is fighting between several warring factions, which seek to seize as much land as possible to increase the power and influence of their group in the region. Chaos and anarchy in the vicinity of the city has attracted many looters, bandits and thrill seekers. Also the conflict did not ignore the mercenaries, who despite the dangerous status of the territory and the war between the groups rushed into the depths of Shadov for their own profit. You have to be in the role of a mercenary and test yourself in order to get rich and, above all, to survive. In addition, you are faced with the choice of joining one of the territorial factions or try your luck alone. Can a mercenary sacrifice a lot, for the sake of money or does he have an entirely different goal?

Ratings and reviews

It's okay, although definitely feels very barebones. The bots are blissfully unaware, but their weapons are a dice roll on how fast it shreds you, so I hope that can be balanced. Quests are awful, especially the loot ones relying on luck to find. My biggest issue however is the insanely slow skill progression. I've reached late game with maxed bunker upgrades and most of my skills are still at level 2 / 5. Some of them I don't even know how to level up... Needs more time and polish IMO.

Lots of promise for this game, although some of the criticism is spot on, last I played I only ran into a handful of other people, the bots are insane with how many spawn, and once you run out of money and gear its very hard to get back on your feet. Additionally I wish there was a feature where once or twice you could reset to the beginning loot and gear, that would help out new players who die and lose everything.

Has potential but is extremely unplayable in its current state. Game has crashed on me several times causing me to lose everything. If you don't have a backpack you can't loot certain guns to complete quests. If you have no guns and no money to buy guns then you quite literally cannot play unless you're lucky enough to get one in the loot crates. Guns will shoot at nothing and waste an entire clip of ammo. I'll check back in later to see if any of this has been fixed and give it another shot.
