Nyumba Yangu is a rental management app for property owners, their team and tenants. Track rent in Tanzanian shillings, send receipts, keep contracts and photos in one place, and switch the whole app between English and Swahili.

FOR OWNERS
• See every tenant at a glance — paid, pending or overdue — plus total collected
• Add properties with location, photos and rent amount
• Add tenants and set payment periods (1, 3, 6 or 12 months, or a custom number)
• Mark rent as paid and generate a receipt with a reference number
• Open your phone’s SMS app with the receipt already written, ready to send
• Approve or reject payment photos and extra-day requests
• Invite team members as Admin, Editor or View only
• Chat with tenants and get notifications when rent is due or a request comes in

FOR TENANTS
• Sign in with the phone number your owner gave you
• See days left until rent is due, and reminders as the date approaches
• Pay using the owner’s bank or mobile-money details, then upload a receipt photo
• Request extra days when you need them
• Browse available properties and open the map for directions
• Chat with your owner and keep your payment history

LANGUAGES
English and Kiswahili — change language any time in the app.
