This application was originally designed for specialists and those who work in highly sensitive environments, such as journalists, government officials, and secret service agents.
No launcher icon and no appearance of the application anywhere on your phone. Others do not even know you have this application on your phone. That's why it is perfect for hiding your private photos, videos (and other sensitive data).
Only you can access the application and manage your hidden files by calling the application from your dial pad with your own "Android secret code."
Just dial: *#*#CODE#*#* (where CODE is any series of numbers you set) from your default Phone application. This application will *magically* appear.
For your information, an Android secret code is a series of digits you can dial with your dial pad to access some hidden features of the phone (mostly for technical debugging purposes). These series, or codes, are usually set by the phone maker or the operator from the factory. They are fixed and can not be changed once the phone leaves the factory and goes to the consumers. One of the most popular codes is:
- 4 6 3 6 (or "INFO") to access debugging information on your phone.
Now, these hidden codes are no longer fixed with the applications in our Koller Secret suite. You can set your secret codes with whatever numbers you like and change them whenever you want. Only you know and can use these codes to access the hidden features provided by our applications (i.e., to access your private data).
One can use these secret codes by putting the series of digits between a *#*# prefix and a #*#* suffix.
For example, the code 4 6 3 6 will become * # * # 4 6 3 6 # * # *, and you can dial it with your phone's dial pad. The hidden application will open after you hit the final * button.
HOW-TO: (FIRST TIME RUN)
Step 1:
- Open your phone's gallery app or Files management app.
- Select one or some photos/videos.
- Click the "Share" button.
- Choose "Hide" from the list.
Step 2:
- Koller Secret will be launched for the first time!!!
- It will ask you to create your secret code. Please follow the instructions on the screen to finish this *crucial* step.
- You can choose any number you like; the longer, the better (as long as you can remember it).
- Click "Save."
Step 3:
- If everything goes well. The first photo/video importing process will start.
- Let the importing run and finish.
- You are now done with the initial setup.
HOW-TO: (normal)
- Open your phone app.
- Dial: *#*#
- Then, your SECRETCODE (that you set in step 2).
- Then, dial #*#*
- The Koller Secret application will "magically" appear!
- Enjoy!
