Ratings and reviews

I played this game when I was super young, but only recently came back to it. The player base has ran dry, but it is still fully functional. Just make sure to manually allow permissions, or else all you will see when booting the game is a black screen. Some of the card fusions make no sense though, for example, two lesser cards put together makes an insane powerhouse, but 3 of the rarest will give you one that is comparable to a lesser card. Not really sure if that was meant to be balanced.

Unfortunately it is not as good as the original tyrant was. The powercreep is extreme here, making the weaker cards completely irrelevant. The skills of the cards mostly don't matter, the higher numbered card with random skills beats the lower numbered card with random skills. The battles have no strategy, you just press the autobattle/skip button every time and let the player with better cards win. You can however get the strongest cards without spending money by playing in the events.

I miss war metal tyrant. The game was way more fun, made sense back then. Since this tyrant came about, it has been awful in many ways. No limit to how many of one card can be in a deck, which causes spam decks, which are usually agonizing to play against. The newer cards get bigger #'s and more 1 sided vs. older cards, forcing you to switch your playstyle often, also creates a pay to win element. I hate to see this game die, but I cannot play it any longer. 1 star for the memories of war metal.
