■ What is KCB i-PIN?

KCB i-PIN is a service that allows you to use i-PIN and My-PIN more conveniently and securely through an app.

* What is i-PIN?

It is a means to verify your identity online using an ID and password instead of your Resident Registration Number.

* What is My-PIN?

It is a random 13-digit number that can be used in daily life instead of your Resident Registration Number.

→ After registering as a user for the first time, you can authenticate i-PIN more easily.

2. More secure with app OTP!

→ By providing OTP as an additional authentication method, you can use i-PIN more safely.

3. Notifications that alert you every time authentication occurs!

→ You can use the service with peace of mind as you are notified in real-time whenever i-PIN or My-PIN authentication occurs.

4. Manage personal information on your smartphone!

→ You can conveniently check authentication history, set up additional authentication, and issue or revoke My-PINs directly from your smartphone. 5. Offline MyPIN Authentication!

→ You can issue a MyPIN through the app, and we provide a MyPIN QR code and barcode for offline authentication.

1. It can be used with a mobile phone registered in your name.

2. K-MyPIN requires an internet connection to use.

3. Data charges may apply when using LTE or 3G.

4. There may be restrictions on the use of simple authentication on devices that do not support Fido.

We provide the following information regarding the access permissions used by the KCB i-PIN app.

App access permissions are divided into mandatory and optional access permissions. You may choose not to agree to allow optional access permissions.

○ Essential Access Permissions

- Phone

Used to read USIM information and for security settings for secure i-PIN authentication through the permission to make and manage calls.

○ Optional Access Permissions

- Camera

Used for app-based i-PIN simple authentication using QR codes through permission to take photos and videos.

- Notifications

Used to receive announcements related to the i-PIN app, etc.
