About this app

Welcome to the next generation of KorTerra one call ticket management for mobile users, available for download on any smartphone or tablet. KorTerra Field has been purposefully designed for locators with the goal of empowering greater efficiency when managing 811 locate tickets on the go.

Locators can easily plan their day around the type and location of tickets, take and upload photos directly in the app without sacrificing device storage space, and utilize click-to-call or click-to-email capabilities that provide streamlined communication with ticket owners and contractors. Offline capabilities allow users with spotty or no connection to continue viewing, managing, and completing tickets.

Please bring back the camera swap to wide angle lens. I have to use this app for taking photos everyday, and now even standing back is too zoomed in. I used to be able to flip the camera front facing, then back again to show wide angle. Even pinch zooming out is too close for accurate distance pictures. Also, there are too many tabs for the same information you could find in one list before the updates.

I’ve used several locate apps over the years, and KorTerra is easily the best. It’s fast, easy to use, and built around real locator workflows. Maps are responsive, photo capture is simple, and offline use works reliably in low-signal. KorTerra staff is quick to reach out, learn what’s happening in the field, and actually listen to feedback. Highly recommend.

Flawed, but improving. A vast improvement over the absolute broken state this app was in upon release. Yet the decision to overhaul the layout seems questionable when there are still far more pressing issues that need addressed. And still this many years in, and the upload cap of 50 attachments at a time still has not been improved, continuing to make tickets with hundreds of attachments just that much more tedious.
