About this app

Kosh is a personal finance app built on one promise: your money data never leaves your phone.

There's no account to create, no cloud, no ads and no trackers. Kosh doesn't even have internet permission, so Android itself guarantees that nothing you enter can be sent anywhere. The About screen lists every permission the app holds, so you can check.

TRACK SPENDING, QUICKLY
• Add an expense in a few taps with the built-in keypad and category chips
• Quick-add templates for the things you buy every day
• Cash, bank and card accounts with live balances, plus transfers between them
• Scan a bill with the camera or share a screenshot: on-device text recognition (English and Hindi) reads the amount and date
• Attach receipts and documents to any transaction

• An overall monthly budget plus limits for each category
• "Safe to spend" per day, pace and a month-end forecast

What’s new

• New: bill reminders. Kosh can tell you the day before a recurring payment goes out, on the day itself, or three days ahead. Turn them on in Settings › Notifications.
• Reminders work fully offline, like the rest of Kosh. Amounts stay off your lock screen.
• A backup made on an iPad now says so when you restore it.
