About this app

Read a real book in the language you are learning. Tap any word you do not know and it becomes a card — translation, example sentence, native pronunciation, a picture — and it comes back to you before you forget it.

Kotoba Dōjō is a place you build, not a progress bar you chase. Twenty words a day, a dojo that remembers every day you showed up, and a story that unlocks as you climb.

Meet a word anywhere in the app — a book, a lesson, a song, a video — and one tap keeps it. Illustrations are drawn for you, example sentences are written for you, pronunciation is there without you recording anything. No evenings lost to making decks before you are allowed to start learning.

IT COMES BACK BEFORE YOU FORGET
Every card returns on a schedule that watches how you actually remember. Answer easily and it retreats for weeks; hesitate and it is back tomorrow. A daily limit on new words keeps an ambitious Saturday from burying you on Tuesday.
