AllCast lets you send photos, music, and videos on your Android to your TV!

AllCast lets you cast to:

This is the free version of AllCast, which shows ads on the phone while it is casting. Upgrade to the premium version to remove the ads.

*Permissions:*

Internet - Streaming from Dropbox/Drive
Wifi/Network State - Check if wifi is on
Change Wifi States - Search for devices on local network
Wake Lock - Keep Android on while streaming
Read/write External Storage - Play from SD Card
Read Phone State - Used for premium license verification
Get Accounts - Search for Google accounts
Use Credentials - Log into Google Drive
Superuser - Google Music casting

App MUST FORCE STOPPPED AFTER EVERY USE. If you don't it will drain your phone's battery completely dead (even when your phone screen is off and your not using the app!) in 6 hours. Hitting stop on the app does nothing. It runs in the background no matter what. Even after you restart your phone. The app works great when you use it, easy to set up. Works from TV remote control also. It's really a shame it has to be ruined by one design flaw.

This app used to be amazing. I upgraded to premium, and it was 100% worth it. I've had it so long, I can't bring myself to rate below 3 stars, that's how rock solid it was for so long. Now, it never plays ANYTHING on my Chromecast or Xbox. The listed formats do not play, regardless of file size. It never works anymore. Hoping next update fixes, because I used to use this daily. Note 8 running latest Android Oreo.

Decent app, but it regularly screws up the image and sound syncing which is irritating. You have to skip the movie forward or back to get them in sync again, but it doesn't always work. Also, if you pause the movie and then play again, it will play for anywhere between a few seconds and a couple of minutes before it shuts down and you need to restart it. Lastly... The ads. Jesus are they invasive. So much so that even with my phone locked and on silent the ad will switch on my phones sound and blast out the ad through the speaker. Every minute or two the ads will pop up, directing you away from whatever you're doing and taking you back into Allcast! Hugely annoying.
