No English... I know, I live in Japan and it's for Japanese people, but it would be nice to have English. As it is, I find it much easier to avoid the app and use the website. Mercari, in general, is incredibly easy to use, but you will pay 10% for that. I'm thinking Amazon might be a cheaper way to go if you want to sell much.
Very poor customer service. When i used it at first time usage restriction is continuously appearing on the screen and even i can't like and buy the products just because i logged the account from another device. I submitted my documents for unbanned the restriction and contacted the customer service center but the reply came next day. In japan i haven't seen this type of customer service where the customer is first priority for them.

I've been selling my own paintings in Mercari for the past year or so and didn't find any major issues. This app is not intended for those who don't know the Japanese language, so don't expect to receice any sort of support in English, for example. Also, it assumes the user is Japanese, so foreigners with very long names might find some trouble when setting up the link with the bank account to transfer your money (which I think could be improved! Not everybody has only one last name!)
