PadTap Studio is a flexible drumpad-style app for Android and iOS, built for creators who want full control over their own sound setup.
You can create multiple scenes, choose different pad grid layouts, and assign your downloaded audio files to each pad.
Each pad can be customized with:
- name
- color
- icon
- sound file
- volume
Playback behavior is also configurable per pad:
- **Rapid Fire** (retrigger from start, overlapping allowed)
- **Start/Stop Toggle** (tap once to play, tap again to stop)
- **Loop** (continuous playback until stopped)
PadTap Studio includes scene management so you can save many complete pad sets and switch between them quickly.
You can export and import your scenes together with audio assets (e.g., as a ZIP package), making backup and transfer simple.
The app is designed for responsive use across different screen sizes and split-screen scenarios, so your layout remains practical during real sessions.
A lightweight onboarding tutorial helps new users understand scene creation and pad configuration.
Monetization is currently based on a one-time startup ad in the free version.

- Removed `android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES` from the manifest to avoid broad photo-library access and rely on the system picker flow instead.
