Sonyfy is designed specifically to control Sony Smart TVs powered by Android TV. The remote control app offers a wide range of buttons that are available on a physical remote control, an easy to use touchpad for navigation through the content and a list of apps installed on TV.

It works but putting a full screen ad in your face every time you touch it isn't the way to do it. Completely ruins what would be a decent app. Worse still, the cookie consent now expects you to scroll through an endless list of vendors and uncheck the consent switch. This makes us competent unusable unless you force yourself to accept the cookies rather than spend 10 minutes unchecking them all. Totally unacceptable.

good for when you have a broken remote and need a backup but way too expensive to use long term when remotes are $30 to replace

Very poor experience, barely only controlled volume, and I WILL NOT pay for a subscription for a TV remote.
