About this app

Krasyn Rounds is a companion for hospitalists and inpatient clinicians. It keeps your patient list, rounds, tasks and handoff on your phone, alongside whatever record system your hospital uses.

Start the shift by photographing or pasting your patient list; you check every row before anyone is added. On rounds, dictate an update or snap a photo of a wound, drain or ostomy output, a paper order or an EMR screen. Krasyn reads it and files it to the right patient: by a room or name in the photo, by the patient you have open, or by something only one patient has recorded. When two patients could match, or the photo names someone not on your list, it asks.

You stay in control:
• Nothing extracted from a voice update or photo enters your patient list until you review it.
• Wound and output photos are always checked side by side with the photo.
• Pending photos are encrypted on this device until you keep or discard them. Only reviewed text is added to your list.
• Everything stays a plan; the app never records that a medication was given or an order placed.
• Tasks, reminders and waiting results stay separate from clinical facts.
• Rounds progress, tasks and recordings keep working offline and sync later.

Ask your list what you are waiting on, share a structured I-PASS handoff as text or PDF built from what you recorded, and prepare a progress note or discharge summary from the stay without re-dictating. Scribe notes for consented visits remain available inside the app.

Krasyn Rounds supports clinical workflow; it does not write to your hospital's chart, does not replace professional judgment, and does not diagnose, treat or make clinical decisions. What’s new

Dictation, photos and pasted lists reach the right patient more often, including bare names, corrections like "wait, no", room changes and handwritten lists. Notes keep preparing when the app is closed and are ready about three minutes after your last capture. A clear result closes its waiting item on its own, with Undo.
