ZA Scripts is a digital prescription and sick note app built for South African doctors. Issue, sign, and share professional medical documents from your phone — no paper, no desk required.

Who it's for?
Registered South African doctors who want a faster, cleaner way to write scripts and sick notes while consulting, doing ward rounds, or working remotely.

PRESCRIPTIONS
Write a prescription in seconds. Add medications with dose, route, frequency, and duration. Set repeat counts for chronic medications. Drag to reorder the medication list before generating.

Every script is generated as a professional PDF that includes your digital signature, practice logo, and a unique QR code. Pharmacies can scan the QR code to verify the script is valid and has not been revoked.

Revoke a script at any time if it was issued in error. Once revoked, the QR scan will reflect the updated status.

SICK NOTES
Issue a medically signed sick note with a date range and optional diagnosis. The app calculates the duration automatically. Sick notes are generated as PDFs with your signature and QR code — ready to share immediately.

TEMPLATES
Build a library of medication templates for your most common prescriptions. Save any script as a template and reuse it with a single tap. Edit templates at any time. Templates make chronic medication lists and repeat consultations significantly faster.

PATIENT RECORDS
Maintain a local patient list with demographics, contact details, medical aid information, and allergy notes. Allergies are displayed as a warning banner when issuing a script — reducing the risk of prescribing something the patient cannot take.

DOCTOR PROFILE
Set up your profile with your name, qualifications, HPCSA registration number, practice details, and practice logo. Draw and save your digital signature — it appears on every document you generate.

Your profile information is automatically included on all PDFs, keeping every document compliant and professionally formatted.

SHARING AND PRINTING
Once a document is generated, you can:
- Share the PDF via WhatsApp, email, AirDrop, or any app on your device
- Print directly from your phone using AirPrint or any connected printer
- View the PDF in the built-in viewer with pinch-to-zoom

CLOUD BACKUP
Enable cloud backup to sync your profile and templates across devices. Your data is tied to your account and kept private.
