This is an all-encompassing app for keeping track of all your smokes and cooks. This gives you the best chance of improving the qualities of your smokes over time. Easily record details on the fly to ensure you track each an every event that can make your smoke absolutely mouth watering. If you find yourself always forgetting what you did last time to make an amazing piece of meat on the smoker, forget that! With this smoking journal you will have a track record of all your smokes, both good and bad and be able to categorize them as so.

Great way to track your smokes. Be creative in naming the smoke. I included the weight and any seasonings in the naming of the meat so I can find specific weights and seasonings later on. I rate the stars harshly. When I see a 5 star, I know it was realy good. The improvements I would like to see to the App is the ability to sort by meat type and the ability to track more than one smoke at a time(ribs and chicken). I have requested these improvements and they said they are working on it.

I was going to buy a log book and then I found this app. I have used in on my BBQ smoke and it is great. The ability to log done the information as well as pictures is really helpful. You can go back and see your previous cooks and compare to current cooks. I look forward to continue use, also it is nice to be able to see the event online at their website. Figuring out how to add the time the cook was checked and documented took a little time. We have a "start smoke" and "end smoke" a category of "hourly event" would be a bit easier to figure out.

No complaints, it does exactly what it should do and is very simple. I've used it for my past 4 Smokes. Couple suggestions Instead of entering "Smoker Used" on each new Smoke, have a drop down with previous entries Quick Actions when using "Add Event to Log"; Meat on, meat off, added fuel, basted. These could be preconfigured or allow users to enter their own quick actions Auto calculate smoke time using "Quick Actions", Meat Off - Mean On = Smoke time
