The KSMART application is a one-stop platform providing direct access to all services the Local self government Kerala. Indian citizens, residents, businesses and visitors can apply for services online, interact with their customer service and track the status of the application.

The app provides direct access to a wide range of services, including, but not limited to:
- Civil registration ( Birth Registration, Death Registration, Marriage Registration)
- Building permit
- Property Tax
- Public grievance redressal
- Download Certificate ( Marriage, Death, Birth )

These services are provided by government entities like Local self government Kerala.

The application's user interface is good. But when I try to apply for a marriage certificate the form - 2 is not able to download. Every time it shows 'something unexpected happened'. Also the columns I filled in as the app asked raised unrelated queries by the authorityies. don't know how to resubmit.

Recently updated aadhaar name initials and I was trying to update same in ksmart app but there's no option for that. So tried contacting help & support from side menu but app crashes when selecting that. Tried multiple times but crashing. Update: contacted their support team and raised request to update profile name and it's been 2 weeks, still this is pending. Utter failure in digital Kerala mission.

Marriage certificate not issued even after a month. Documents were resubmitted, but there’s still no response from the village office. Service downtime is very high for a government app. Repeated OTP verification makes it worse, and third-party OTPs often don’t arrive. There’s no clear guidance on resubmission. Overall, it’s a fully buggy app. Kudos to the Kerala government for adding an app that only makes the process slower—now lazy government officials can conveniently blame the application
