About this app

Dishaank is a mobile GIS application that helps citizens easily identify survey numbers and land details across Karnataka using their mobile GPS location.

The application provides access to cadastral maps, land ownership details, survey boundaries, Hissa boundaries, and RTC (Record of Rights, Tenancy, and Crops) information directly on an interactive map.

Developed by the Karnataka State Remote Sensing Applications Centre (KSRSAC), Dishaank enhances transparency and simplifies access to land-related information for citizens, officials, and stakeholders.

Using Dishaank, users can locate land parcels anywhere in Karnataka, view ownership details, analyze land boundaries, and access additional spatial layers for better understanding of land information.

Key Features

Cadastral Map Layer

• View cadastral boundaries and land parcel information
• Access owner details and survey boundaries for current/selected locations
• Navigate to any location within Karnataka to view land parcel details
• Identify survey and Hissa numbers using your current GPS location


Bhoomi Land Beat Layer

The Bhoomi Land Beat layer provides information related to land encroachment status, including:

• Encroachment Area – Land identified as encroached
• Suspect / Pending Verification Area – Areas under verification or suspected encroachment
• No Encroachment Area – Land verified as free from encroachment

These classifications are displayed using color-coded map layers for easy interpretation.

Map Tools & Utilities

• Toggle map layers and legends for better visualization
• Search by District, Taluk, Hobli, Village, and Survey Number
• Measurement tools to calculate land area and distances
• Weather widget – tap on any location to view current weather and 3-day forecast
• Go to Latitude/Longitude for precise navigation
• Switch between Satellite, Terrain, and Standard base maps
• Offline map download for use in low or no network areas

User-Friendly Interface

Ratings and reviews

Unfortunately, the app isn't working for me right now. The map doesn't load on launch, and trying to interact with the screen just throws a network connectivity error. It seems like a bug in the latest update. Looking forward to a fix from the developers

Older App was Much Better. Finding it difficult to click on Find Sy button. Instead, it clicks on land picture beneath the button. Basic functionality gone for a toss !! Please give us the Old App !!

Painfully slow, shows the attention given. takes forever to load and often fails at basic version test! Not sure why Govt facilities must be slow all the time?
