[Service Eligibility]
- KT Mobile/KT MVNO (Cheap Phone) Customers
※ Anyone aged 14 or older can conveniently use the app.
※ Foreigners who can verify their identity through mobile phones and corporate customers who have signed up for corporate identity verification services can also use the app.
(However, mobile micropayments are not available for those under 19 or with corporate-named phones.)

[Key Features]
- Easy Identity Verification: Securely verify your identity using your 6-digit PIN, fingerprint, or other information registered with PASS, without worrying about smishing.
- Mobile Payment: View your mobile payment history and use barcode payments.
- Driver's License Mobile Verification Service: Your driver's license is now on your phone, allowing you to register your physical driver's license information with PASS.
- Resident Registration Card Mobile Verification Service: You can check the information on your resident registration card on PASS without a physical resident registration card. - PASS Certificate: This certificate, certified by the Digital Signature Certification Business, allows for safer and easier use.
- Financial Products: Provides information on a variety of financial products, including loans, cards, insurance, and savings accounts.
- Loan Comparison: Easily compare loan product interest rates and limits that best suit your needs (credit, home equity, auto equity).

[Note]
- Available for Android OS 8.0 and higher. Fingerprint authentication may not be supported depending on your phone model.
- This service is not supported on tablets, smartphone accessories, or Wi-Fi-only devices.
- When installing and running the app in a 3G/LTE environment, data call charges may be deducted or charged depending on your plan.
- When using the app overseas, data roaming charges may apply if the device is not connected to Wi-Fi.

[PASS Access Permissions and Reasons for Needing Them]
1. Required Access Permissions
#Phone Permission: PASS by kt collects, transmits, and stores phone numbers for user authentication when launching the app, collects app usage statistics, verifies customer location information and history management for mobile driver's license verification, and verifies customer information when calling customer service to resolve customer inconveniences.
#Storage Permission: Required for certificate signature file storage and information management, storing issued electronic receipts, storing pet insurance subscription certificates, and storing mind care content. (Obtained only for OS 12 and below)
2. Optional Access Permissions
#Camera: Used for QR code authentication and driver's license registration, driver's license/resident registration card facial authentication, ID verification, PASS wallet profile settings and certificate use, and pet care patellar dislocation screening.
#Location Information: Used to verify the device's location when sending driver's license verification and to check nearby pet access points based on pet service area location.
#Notification: Required for push notifications.
#Contact: Used to enter the recipient's name and phone number when creating a PASS wallet certificate.
#Physical Activity: Used to measure steps with the healthcare pedometer.

*You can change PASS permissions in the Settings app > Application Management > PASS App Permissions menu on your phone.

When you are in Korea, every step needs confirmation and this app is one of the Virtual signature platforms. But it is the worst app ever! It signs me out any time it wants, doesn't let me sign in again, and always says the SIM information is wrong, and guess what! It happens all of a sudden when I need it the most! So inconvenient, so bothersome.

Tried authenticating a mobile service website through PASS but it says I have no authentication info on PASS which is weird. No further information on how to solve the issue was provided.

Pathetic app experience. No English support. Doesn't allow screenshot so can't translate as well. App will just close if sim is not inserted in slot 1. If sim is in slot 1, but default calls and msg is set to sim2, app will still not work. Even after this, need to switch off and switch on the phone and enable mobile data initially for the app to login. After long trouble it might work, but even after that, trouble doesn't end due to no English support.
