This is easily the best decibel meter app I've ever used. Has more useful features than all the other apps (the others all are missing one or two things, this one is comprehensive) and the ads aren't constantly popping up every 15 seconds. Only downside is the remove ad cost is a bit more than the others, but the ads aren't very intrusive so it doesn't feel as necessary.

Aces! I like this app. It's accurate. It has a description of items in the sound range it was registering. for example: I'm in a quiet room with grandfather clock ticking and if you listen carefully you can hear the low roar of the city in the background. the app is registering clock ticking, quiet room and a bit above. excellent calibration. speaking of calibration you can adjust it too. someone took some time with this app. thank you

Nice, a free tool that's useful and even usable without pulling your hair out waiting for ads to end. Has some features that I'll never need like recording or saving graph data. I'd really like to know how accurate it is without calibrating it but if I had a device to calibrate it with them I wouldn't need the app. I was able to get the basic information I needed and compare sound levels.
