Your journey will start with proper tools to improve your coloring book painting experience:
- 🖌️ Painter's Knife: Tap any unpainted pixel to instantly slice the image with perfect vertical and horizontal lines.
- 💧 Color Bucket: Make a splash! Fill challenging areas with a big spread of color in a single tap, making progress feel fast and rewarding.
- ⛏️ Painter's Pickaxe: Strike any unpainted pixel to make a "crack" inside your image, filling it with painted pixels. A cheap and fun way to quickly color a bunch of blocks.
- 🪄 Color Wand: Add some colorful magic. A very expensive tool with very rewarding feedback. Paint all blocks of the same color, no matter where they are on the canvas.
The journey continues with different quality-of-life features:
- Drag painting: Select a color, put a finger on the canvas, and hold it for half a second. The game will switch into drag painting mode — just swipe your finger around the screen to paint all those numbered squares and turn them into their colors!
- No "you painted this block with the wrong color" messages. We decided this feature wouldn't fit the chill and relaxing vibe of our color-by-number game. Safely tap the "wrong" color blocks and see... nothing happens. 😌
- Double-tap a color to find any unpainted block of that color. No need to buy shady power-ups to locate a lost color block — just tap and you're done!
- Automatically switch to another color block when you've painted the previous one, and locate the first unpainted block. This speeds up your process a little and gives nice feedback on your progress.
- Share fully completed pixel art with your friends or save it to your device gallery.
The journey ends with a few "challenge" features. Please note, these features aren't required to fully experience the game — you can always enjoy it at your own pace:
- Combo meter: Earn combos for painting blocks without stopping for more than 5 seconds. Test your speed — can you paint the whole picture in one sitting?
- Earn game points for big combos. Exchange those points for Mystery Pixel Art unlocks and different items or tools.
- Paint daily to increase your streak and get rewards that will improve your game progress even further.
- Test yourself in the Mystery Art category. No tools, no color selection — only one color at a time. Can you guess what you're painting or how big the pixel art is?
