About this game

A nonogram — also called picross, griddler or picture cross — is a logic puzzle. The numbers along each row and column tell you how many squares to fill and in what order. Work it out line by line and a picture appears.

720 PUZZLES, SIX GRID SIZES
Start with quick 5x5 warm-ups and work your way up to 30x30 grids that take a proper sitting. 72 packs, 10 puzzles each, spread across 5x5, 10x10, 15x15, 20x20, 25x25 and 30x30. Every puzzle is hand-drawn rather than machine-generated, so what you uncover is always a recognisable object, animal or scene.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY
Classic — a wrong square costs a life. Three mistakes and the level is over.
Zen — no lives and no interruptions. Fill in whatever you like and press Check when you want to know how you are doing.

CONTROLS THAT STAY OUT OF THE WAY
• Line lock keeps a drag on a single row or column, so a slipped finger never paints a stray square
• Completed lines cross themselves out
• Undo any move
• Two-finger pinch and pan on the larger grids
• Hints for when a puzzle stops making sense

A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY
The daily puzzle changes at midnight and keeps a streak counter. The grid grows as the week goes on: a short one on Monday, a large one at the weekend.

COMFORTABLE TO LIVE WITH
• Light and dark themes
• Plays completely offline — no account, no sign-up
• Available in English, Turkish, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian and Indonesian
• Your progress and stars stay on your device

Nonograms reward patience over speed. There is no timer pushing you along, no energy meter to wait on, and nothing to unlock before you can play. Pick a pack, start filling squares, and see what turns up.

What’s new

Levels actually get harder now.

• Every puzzle was regenerated and measured with a solver. The board no longer solves itself — you read rows and columns together.
• Each size is ordered easy to hard.
• 5×5 is now a 5-level tutorial; 10×10 starts right away.
• Unlocking is looser: the biggest grid is 45 levels away, not 255.
• The third star now has a time target.
• The daily puzzle no longer repeats.
• First launch asks: Classic or Zen?
