About this app

Interpolator + OCR — a smart assistant for interpolating engineering data.

Forget tedious calculations and manual data entry. The app was built for construction work, but it fits any field where you need values between known points: physics, chemistry, sociology, economics.

🏗️ A REAL-WORLD EXAMPLE
You need to dig a 155-metre trench for a gas pipeline. The drawings give only the entry and exit elevations, but the excavator operator needs pegs every 5 metres. Enter the start and end elevations and the length — the app works out the elevation for any station.

Levelling is covered too: a design elevation of 100.005 with a constant of −98.865 becomes a staff reading of 1.140 m.

Smoothing helps when laying asphalt — for instance, to ensure a gentle approach to a bridge expansion joint.
